Warranty Policy – Effective Terms & Version Applicability

Effective from January 2026, this Warranty Policy shall govern all products supplied.

The warranty terms applicable to any given product shall be exclusively those of the policy version in effect on the date that product was supplied. Subsequent revisions, updates, or new versions of this Policy do not supersede, amend, or retroactively alter the warranty coverage for products supplied prior to the effective date of such changes.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Welcome to GOCaddy. This document outlines the terms of our warranty coverage. By completing your purchase with GOCaddy, you accept and agree to the conditions set forth in this policy.

1. WARRANTY COVERAGE PERIOD
All new GOCaddy vehicles are backed by a comprehensive 1-Year Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty from the original date of purchase, alongside a Structural Warranty. To validate any claim, the original sales invoice must be retained and presented as proof of purchase.

All other items (excluding items listed in Point 3) - 3 Years

UTV Farm and Commercial Use

Chassis - 3 Years

Battery, Lithium, - 3 Years

All other items (excluding items listed in Point 3) - 1 Year

2. ELIGIBILITY AND TRANSFERABILITY
This warranty is extended exclusively to the first retail buyer and is valid from the date of collection. It is strictly non-transferable unless agreed to by GOCaddy in writing. Should the original owner sell, gift, or otherwise dispose of the vehicle to a third party, the warranty becomes void. The original purchaser holds no right to make claims on behalf of subsequent owners.

3. ITEMS EXCLUDED FROM WARRANTY
Certain components are subject to wear and tear and are therefore not covered under this warranty. Excluded items include, but are not limited to:

• Wheels and Tyres
• Wheel Bearings
• Battery life (lithium) past initial 5 year warranty from date of purchase
• Lighting components (headlights, indicators)
• Seat upholstery and canvas/vinyl covers
• Consumable parts requiring regular replacement
  Please note: GOCaddy supplies replacement parts for these items, which are available for purchase separately (shipping fees may apply).

4. CONDITIONS OF USE AND MAINTENANCE
This warranty strictly covers manufacturing defects only. It does not apply to damage resulting from:

• Improper or unintended use of the vehicle
• Accidents, collisions, or external impacts
• Negligence, misuse, or abuse
• Unauthorised modifications or alterations to the vehicle’s design
• Failure to follow the care, maintenance, and operational guidelines provided by GOCaddy.

5. VEHICLE CLASSIFICATION AND USAGE

• This warranty is valid only for new vehicles sold directly to private owners.
• Ex-Display or Demonstrator Models: These units carry a limited warranty, the terms of which are negotiated at the time of purchase.
• Commercial/Rental Use: Vehicles purchased for rental, loan, or commercial operations are not covered by this warranty.
• Auction or Seconds: No warranty is provided for vehicles sold at auction, as factory seconds, or those labelled as damaged or pre-used.

6. THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS
Certain accessories and appliances installed on the vehicle (e.g., GPS units, audio systems, or aftermarket items) are manufactured by third parties. These specific items are covered solely by the original manufacturer’s warranty, and GOCaddy accepts no liability for their performance or failure.

7. WARRANTY SERVICE PROCEDURE
All warranty inspections and repairs must be performed at the GOCaddy factory or an authorised service centre.

• Return to Base: The purchaser is responsible for the delivery of the vehicle to our facility for assessment.
• Costs: GOCaddy does not cover transport, towing, recovery, or travel expenses incurred during a warranty claim, unless explicitly agreed upon in writing by GOCaddy management.
• Authorisation: Only GOCaddy authorised representatives may carry out warranty work. Repairs or replacements are conducted at the sole discretion of GOCaddy based on the nature of the fault. Parts used in warranty repairs will be warranted for the balance of the vehicles new vehicle warranty period.

8. AGENT AND RESELLER AUTHORITY
No external agent, reseller, or third-party dealer is authorised to approve or reject warranty claims on behalf of GOCaddy. All decisions regarding warranty validity rest solely with the GOCaddy corporate team.

9. CANOPY COVERAGE (WHERE APPLICABLE)
Where applicable, folding roofs, canopies, or enclosure systems are covered by a 12-month warranty. This does not cover general wear and tear, misuse, or water ingress caused by improper installation, weathering, or over-stretching during assembly. Damage resulting from the application of chemical sprays or sealants to the vehicle / parts is also excluded from coverage.

10. CONSUMER LAW AND RIGHTS
In addition to this warranty, GOCaddy vehicles come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality.

11. WARRANTY APPROVAL PROCESS
All warranty claims are subject to a full internal inspection by GOCaddy. We reserve the right to determine the validity of any claim and whether a defect is genuine or deliberate.

12. WARRANTY VOIDANCE CONDITIONS
This warranty shall be rendered null and void for any failures, malfunctions, or damage to cart parts and components directly or indirectly resulting from the following circumstances:

1. Improper Use & Maintenance – Abnormal strain, neglect, or abuse, including but not limited to failure to perform prescribed maintenance or operating the vehicle in a manner contrary to the instructions set forth in the Owner/Operator Manual.
2. External Impact – Accidents or collision-related damage.
3. Non-Original Parts – The installation of parts or accessories that are not genuine GOCaddy original equipment.
4. Unauthorised Service – Installation of any parts or accessories performed by a non-authorised GOCaddy dealer.
5. Environmental & Normal Deterioration – Fading, rust, or general deterioration caused by excessive environmental exposure or ordinary wear and tear.
6. Consumable Components – Normal "wearable items," including but not limited to tyres, which are excluded from warranty coverage.
7. Unauthorised Modifications – Any modifications or alterations that adversely affect the cart’s structural integrity, operational safety, intended purpose, or overall durability.
8. Shipping Damage – Damage sustained as a result of improper transportation or handling.
9. Natural Catastrophes – Damage caused by Acts of God, including but not limited to lightning, hail, floods, fires, and other severe natural events.

RETURN POLICY

Change of Mind:
Please choose your GOCaddy vehicle carefully. We do not offer refunds for changes of mind, incorrect model selection, or minor variations in design, colour, or specifications.

Return Costs:
If a return is required for repair or assessment, the buyer is responsible for all shipping, handling, and transport costs to and from the GOCaddy facility. GOCaddy does not cover damage, repair, or parts costs resulting from actions taken by the buyer (including improper handling or assembly).

Faulty Parts:
If a component is determined to be faulty, the part must be returned to GOCaddy at the purchaser’s expense for inspection before a replacement is issued.
